About Us

Did you know that Fungi enables plants to communicate with one another and then assists in transporting vital resources from one plant to another in times of distress?

We love Fungi, well more specifically Mushrooms. Yes, those little fruiting bodies that just seem to spring up overnight, suddenly appearing on a dead branch or through a layer of decomposing leaves.

Oh, I hear your mom telling you to stay away from touching Mushrooms – wise advice for those not well versed, but to those immersed in researching these little guys, it's a world filled with mystery and intrigue, inspiring the discovery of it generous gifts – granting numerous medical and nutritional benefits.

Thrive is a compound expression to us summed up as – “Our endeavours to bring about your well-being”. We seek to extract the amazing benefits offered through Fungi and provide them to you in the form of a beneficial product packed with their natural goodness.

Our Mission

The Thrive initiative seeks to establish itself as a community-driven initiative with a core team educating and facilitating local communities to become active participants in the education, growing, and manufacturing of Fungi and mushroom-based products. This directive enables Thrive to focus on establishing initiatives generating local community opportunities, whilst at the same time educating local communities on the use and benefits of Mushrooms.

I find the who to be less interesting than the why. When I started my journey with Mushrooms, I never anticipated such a deeply transformative experience to be undertaken by engaging with these little marvels of nature.

My introduction to Mushrooms started through the use of Lion’s Mane Mushroom Capsules. The significant effect it had on my memory and mental clarity led me to research more about the medical benefits of Mushrooms.

I have always been a person prone to experimentation, so upon reading the various research studies associated to Micro-dosing, my response was immediately “where do I sign up?” Micro-dosing is truly a transformative journey; my appreciation of Micro-dosing is “change over time”.

Immediate change is often easily reversible, but “Change over time” establishes change as part of one’s self, that is, transformative change. There are many medicines that treat physical wounds, dull mental wounds, yet I find no medicine to treat wounded souls. In my opinion, Micro-dosing is medicine for wounded souls.

To each, the journey into the world of Fungi. It is unique unto themselves, but the Chinese proverb stating “The green reed which bends in the wind is stronger than the mighty oak which breaks in a storm”. This proverb should underpin the attitude in which you embark upon your journey.
